The city is now patrolled by the Murrieta Police Department while residents enjoy access to Murrieta Mesa High School and Murrieta Valley High School. If you don’t want to pay homeowner’s association fees or want to limit your taxes, consider a home in the Copper Canyon neighborhood. This community is centered around Cole Canyon Elementary, and the local high school is Murrieta Valley. Countryside is a similar neighborhood with lower property taxes.
