Buying vs. Rent to Own Homes?
A conventional home purchase places a large burden on prospective buyers, requiring them to have large down payments and a readiness to get a mortgage loan. Renting to own a home in Pleasanton is a more incremental process, giving buyers time to save for a down payment and prepare their finances for a mortgage. With rent to own homes, buyers pay a small option fee at the time the contract is signed with the seller. Then, the buyer moves into the home, making monthly rent payments. Sometimes, a portion of the rent is applied to the final purchase price so buyers make monthly progress on their purchase.
